Serie B betting advice – 04/07/12

3 Jul

Before you read tonight’s brief previews, remember that Brazilian football is very inconsistent and therefore difficult to call. Small stakes (£5-£15 for me) are advised as a consequence. However, it’s your money, your call. Whatever you do, please only gamble what you can afford to lose.

So far I’ve got a record of 11 wins, 6 defeats and 1 non runner in Brazil B. Fingers crossed that those stats improve after tonight!

Good luck if you follow

Guarani vs Ipatinga:

The hosts are not a great team but are difficult to beat. The away team have lost their last five games, all of which went over 2.5 goals. However, the last three Guarani games have gone under 2.5 goals. On the plus side for goals, Guarani do have a new striker and midfielder, but I expect that over 2.5 depends on Ipatinga scoring. In conclusion, Guarani should win but the price about that is short so -0.75 on the asian seems best.

Small punt single suggestion: Guarani – 0.75 on the asian handicap at 1.93

Guaratingueta vs Sao Caetano:

I’m tempted by the away win at 6/4 with one firm, but both teams have drawn their last two games and the same outcome is available at a tempting 12/5. As for goals, I’d expect Sao to score and the home team, though averaging only one goal per game this season, should also be able to net one. After all, they’ve scored (and drawn) against Goias and Avai in their last two fixtures.

Small punt single suggestion: Draw at 12/5

Small punt double suggestion: Guarani 90 mins (4/6) and BTTS (8/11) in Guaratingueta vs Sao Caetano.
