Getafe v Granada

With on-loan Valencia forward Paco Alcacer scoring their only goal of the game, Luis Garcia’s Getafe lost 3-1 away to Rayo last Monday night. Midweek, 3-0 down on aggregate to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey, Getafe had a man sent off in the first half and drew 0-0.

Despite being reduced to ten men in the first half of their home game against Valencia last weekend, Granada – through Angulo – managed to score first. However, Valencia’s numerical advantage eventually told and the visitors ran out 2-1 winners.

In conclusion, it’s hard to trust a team who struggles to score goals like Granada , but they have netted in each of their last two games and Getafe are missing so many players that Granada + 0.5 starts to appeal at 1.98.

However, happy like a pig in muck after I predicted Barca would easily defeat Malaga last night when the stat backers thought otherwise, I don’t consider this in the same league as a punt and will be abstain from betting.

If you do punt on Getafe v Granada, good luck.
